thanks for watching mid morning this wednesday. a woman is breast-feeding her baby in a target store in connecticut and she was very bali assaults by a man saying it is disgusting. as the man was cursing at her, she captured other customers
and posted it on facebook. it has gone viral. the amount of people coming at me to defend me was amazing. with all the hate going on in the world it is pretty ridiculous. i think he needs to know that and other people need to know
that too. two target employees took him away and out of the situation. 50% are still breast- feeding. i want to start first with you angela davis. you breastfed both your
children. when you see this, what first comes to mind? first thing i remember the sleep deprivation. i don't remember that whole time period, but for the benefit of the child it is so much healthier as women know
and you're encouraged to do it by your doctors and nurses that yeah go to. we recognize in the world there are a lot of angry people. you have to, you know, i guess assess the environment you're in and determine could this be a good place to do this.
there are many places you can do it and you could cover them. i thought the -- a lot of people say cover up and use a blanket. she was exposed but you can't control whether or not the child will brush the blanket off.
she said would you like eating with a blanket over your head. the bottom line it is not in decent. it is not obscene. it is natural and moms feed their babies when they need to eat and they shouldn't be shamed in public.
he got so angry and there are so many things you can be angry about. this guy was just in a bad mood. he was going to get mad at someone over something and it happened he took his anger out on this mother who was
breastfeeding her child. you certainly have the right to do it but some places have rooms for moms and many bathrooms are outfitted so you can do that. i am always aware there are a lot of people who make bad choices and mean spirited so i
am cautious just by myself how i behave in public. for me it is a little disheartening in a way because we see cleavage everywhere. it is all over. you see just a victoria secret ad so it is funny. you want to feed your baby,
that is obscene.
